Irrfan Khan, the versatile actor passed away at the age of 53 on 29th April 2020 at KokilabenDhirubhaiAmbani  Hospital of Mumbai. Irrfan had been battling from neuroendocrine tumors since 2018. On Tuesday, his spokesperson confirmed that the actor has been admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU) due to colon infection and is under doctor’s observation. HE was a strong soul and inspired everyone around him. He fought against the disease until his very last breath for his family and all his well-wishers. The actor left for heaven leaving behind his legacy. 

About Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan was born on January 7, 1967, in Jaipur, Rajasthan to a Muslim Pashtun family. While studying his Master's degree, in 1984 Irrfan got a scholarship at the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi. He has been a part of various television serials. He made his Bollywood debut with Mira Nair’s film ‘Salaam Bombay’. Since then he has worked in many movies. He also found success in Hollywood films. Irrfan had been honored with many awards. In 2011, the actor was honored with the Padma Shri Award.
Irrfan Khan changed the time when Bollywood actors were not comfortable in experimenting with their off-screen outfits bringing a new fashion culture. He ranges from stylish to the most quirky looks. In 2017, Irrfan Khan turned to showstopper for Rajesh Pratap Singh on the final day of the third edition of Van Heusen + GQ Fashion Nights, here adorning the latest fashion trend. The designer's collection showcased his inclination for indigo. His collection drew inspiration from small towns of India, specifically from Gujarat and Rajasthan. The fashion designer used only natural dyes in his collection. Irrfan Khan much like his characters in films made his unique appearance and was dressed in an Indigo jacket, trousers, and a long drape. His outfit was infused with a fresh breath of air. The attire was coupled with patterns and quirky touches. He made his style look effortless and adorned the overall look with confidence. His attire was fashion-forward yet wearable giving a new aura to the fashion culture. It represented several asymmetric designs and modern international silhouettes. The actor was very happy to try something new. He was thankful to the fashion designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. ”Inferno” which was one of the most awaited and biggest movies of the actor Irrfan Khan in Hollywood was screened on October 8, 2016, the world premiere red carpet of the movie took place at the Opera di Firenze in Florence, Italy. The entire star cast of the movie was spotted promoting the movie for few days and Irrfan Khan also flew early, wrapping up his shoot of another project to be there. The actor was spotted in all-black suit pant, with a grey shirt, black tie, and black shoes, according to the fashion culture, he went extremely basic for the event. At the screening, Irrfan was accompanied by his wife and younger son Ayaan.

This look which he adorned at the promotion of one of his movies included an angrakha teamed up with a bandhgala jacket and white churidars from Anita Dongre. For the 2017 GQ's October edition, the phenomenal actor was seen wearing a skirt with a checkered shirt and a brown jacket. The picture of this attire went viral on social media, it was shot by photographer Tarun Khiwal. The actor was praised a lot by the fashion police as in Bollywood no other actor has ever had the guts to carry such an amazing outfit, but Irrfan wore it to The Edition, which was then celebrating the magazine's 9th anniversary, and featured actors who received awards at the GQ Men Of The Year Award 2017.
Irrfan was honored as Winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award at the GQ function, but his outfit took to heights in the fashion culture of the B Towner's, Irrfan looked effortlessly cool in the skirt. Irrfan Khan did not cease to follow drama and theatre even after creating a name and place in the B Town industry. Showing up in masculinity adorning pastel colors, the actor sure did have the oomph to carry himself with confidence. Accompanied by many other B-Towners like Rishi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, and others, Irrfan stood out of the others wearing white pants with a coral shirt and striped coat. Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi tweeted "Irrfan Khan's demise is a loss to the world of cinema and theatre," he continued by saying that "He will be remembered for his phenomenal performances across different mediums." The Prime Minister also showed concern-toward friends and family "My thoughts are with his family, friends, and admirers."
