Piral Dadhania, equity analyst, European luxury goods and premiums brands at RBC Capital Markets stated, "We believe the move to adjust production towards hand sanitizer is a gesture of goodwill (noting it will be distributed for free), given lower perfumes demand during this period of lock-down and lack of passenger traffic".

LVMH stated, “LVMH will continue to honor this commitment for as long as necessary, in connection with the French health authorities”.
